Ali Reza Mohsini

Dr. Ali Reza Mohseni

Dr. Mohseni has served as the former Chancellor of Kateb University from 2012 to April 2018 and former dean of Department of Economics at Kateb University. He has Master of Economics from Firdawsi University and a doctoral degree in Monetary and Financial Economics from Finance Alaama University in Tahran. His subjects of interests are microeconomics, macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics. He delivers lectures to Kateb Graduate and Undergraduate students on the same topics.

He has supervised a number of thesis which are as follows:

• The impact of population growth and inflation on economic growth in low-income countries over the years 2000 to 2013
• Review of effective factors of reducing administrative corruption in Ministry of Finance
• Kabul Bank Altman bankruptcy prediction model
• Impact of foreign direct investment on Gross Domestic Product in SAARC member countries (2003- 2013)

He has written more than 30 papers in scientific magazines in Afghanistan and outside. Some of them are:
